Felix Iblher leads Oliver Wyman’s CMT practice in Germany and Austria

Global strategy and management consulting firm Oliver Wyman has appointed longstanding company member Felix Iblher as the new Head of its Communications, Media and Technology practice in Germany and Austria.

Felix Iblher has been with Oliver Wyman since 2009, working from the firm’s offices in Europe, North America and Oceania. Over the years, he has worked on a broad range of telecommunications, media, and technology projects, specialising in topics such as strategy, transformation, digital operations, customer experience, and new business models.

In 2021, Iblher relocated to Australia to help setup the Communications, Media, and Technology practice in Australia, and serve as the Asia Pacific leader of the practice.

Now back in Germany, Iblher will assume leadership of the practice for Germany and Austria. “It is a great enrichment for us to welcome Felix back to the region,” said Kai Bender, Market Leader for Central Europe at Oliver Wyman. “I am convinced that Felix will play an important role in further tapping the enormous potential in the market and further expand Oliver Wyman’s market-leading position.”

Iblher studied in Germany and the United States and holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a PhD in Finance.
