Zanders expands DACH presence with new office in Vienna
Zanders, an international treasury and risk consultancy, has expanded its presence in the DACH region with the opening of a new office in Vienna.
The move builds on the firm’s continued growth across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, marking its third office in the region alongside Frankfurt and Zurich. “This represents another step in our strategy of deepening our presence in the markets where client demand for specialized treasury, risk and corporate finance advisory is growing fastest,” said Laurens Tijdhof, CEO of Zanders.
The DACH region has been a priority market for Zanders for several years, with the consulting firm steadily expanding its team and client base across Germany and Switzerland. Austria represents a natural next step in that growth, the firm said, as it faces growing demand for local expertise in areas including treasury transformation, financing and refinancing, digitization, and the centralization of treasury operations.
“Our Vienna office allows us to be closer to the operations of our clients in Austria and strengthens our ability to serve DACH-wide mandates spanning multiple countries,” said Tijdhof. “This move reinforces Zanders’ position as a trusted advisor to clients across the region.”
The Vienna operation is led jointly by three partners: Edith Leitner and Günther Bauer in Austria, alongside Alexander Odentha in Germany. Their combined expertise covers debt advisory and corporate finance, treasury transformation and SAP Treasury. “They bring exactly the mix we need as we grow our presence in DACH,” said Tijdhof. “I’m looking forward to seeing what they build for our clients and the wider team in the region.”
Founded over three decades ago, Zanders has more than 450 employees across offices in Europe, the UK, the Middle East, Asia and the US. The firm advises corporates, financial institutions and public sector organizations in more than 40 countries.
