Sia welcomes Sébastien Zimmer as partner to Energy practice

Sia has strengthened its leadership team with Sébastien Zimmer, who has joined as a partner based out of Paris.

Sébastien Zimmer brings over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, including over 10 years in strategy consulting as a partner at Emerton.

He has been involved in the energy sector since the beginning of his career, holding various operational roles at major industry players (Engie, BP, EDF) before joining the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) in 2008, where he served as Head of the Upstream Gas Infrastructures Department.

During his time in consulting, Zimmer has supported clients across the full energy value chain – gas, LNG, biomethane, electricity – on topics such as market strategy, commercial positioning, and regulatory frameworks. He also acts as an expert in litigation and arbitration matters, including price reviews and regulated business models.

Commenting on his new challenge, Zimmer said: “I am delighted to start in my new position at Sia. I look forward to embarking on this exciting professional journey.”
