British digital product consultancy Loomery launches hub in Kosovo

UK-based digital product consultancy Loomery has launched a new nearshore hub in Pristina, marking a significant expansion of its hybrid delivery model.

The expansion into Kosovo strengthens Loomery’s ability to deliver scalable and cost-effective solutions to its clients in the United Kingdom, which includes the likes of Tesco, Jaguar Land Rover, P&O Cruises, IG Group, and Legal & General.

“Kosovo has exceptional engineering talent, strong English proficiency, cultural alignment and a growing tech ecosystem. We’re proud to invest in long-term partnerships here and excited about the impact this will have on our clients’ speed to value,” said Will Rocha-Thomas, Head of Engineering at Loomery.

Founded in London during the pandemic, Loomery partners with clients to build digital products – from early design and concept development, to proof of concept, through to full digital engineering and delivery.

“We’ve always operated with hybrid delivery at our core,” said Rocha-Thomas. “Our UK team regularly partners with over 100 design, development and strategy specialists from the ‘Maker Network’ spanning the US, Spain, Poland, and France. The launch of our hub in Kosovo represents a doubling down on this hybrid model.”

With the team in Pristina now an integral part of Loomery’s operations, Rocha-Thomas emphasised that this isn’t traditional offshoring, but an expansion of the firm’s proven hybrid model. “It enables us to deliver quickly, flexibly, and cost-effectively – without compromising on quality,” he said.

“This is a major milestone for Loomery,” added Co-Founder Tim Checkley. “We’re expanding our capabilities, growing our team, and staying laser-focused on helping clients build better products.”
