Roland Berger appoints Alexander Belderok as Managing Parter of Dutch business

Global strategy and management consulting firm Roland Berger has appointed Alexander Belderok as the new Managing Partner of its Dutch business.

The 56-year-old has been with Roland Berger since 2006 and is the Global Leader of the firm’s Consumer Goods & Retail practice. In this role, he helps companies strengthen their competitive position in agribusiness, consumer goods, retail, biotechnology and food ingredients. He specialises in strategy development, restructuring and business model innovation.

Belderok will assume the role on 1 January 2026, succeeding Tijo Collot d’Escury, who was the founding partner of the Amsterdam office back in 2002. Under Collot d’Escury’s leadership, Roland Berger grew its team to over 150 people and firmly established itself among the country’s leading strategic consultancy firms.

Globally, Roland Berger has more than 3,000 employees, operating from 48 offices in 34 countries. The consulting firm is the largest European-born challenger to the trio of American strategy giants – McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company.
