Oliver Wyman has strengthened its senior team in France with Vincent Barbat.
Appointed a partner in the Paris office, Vincent Barbat is a member of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) practice of Oliver Wyman. He specialises in operations strategy and transformation, sourcing, customer experience, optimising distribution channels and sales force transformation.
Throughout his career Barbat has built strong relationships at the C‑suite level, guiding large‑scale transformation projects at multinationals and large national champions in the consumer goods sector.
“I’m excited to have joined Oliver Wyman to support the firm’s growth in the consumer goods sector,” said Barbat. “My first few days at Oliver Wyman have been incredible. I’ve had the chance to discover the remarkable capabilities of my new home, especially in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence.”
Barbat previously served Kearney, where he was a senior partner and led the Consumer Industries and Retail practice in France and oversaw the luxury and fashion sector across Europe. Earlier, he was a partner at Strategy& from 2015 to 2021, leading initiatives across retail, luxury, and consumer goods. He initially joined PwC following its acquisition of PRTM, an operations consulting firm.
Prior to moving into management consulting, Barbat began his career at Sony Music.
