Capgemini Invent appoints Volker Darius as new Chief Executive Officer
Capgemini Invent, the global management and digital transformation consulting business of Capgemini, has appointed Volker Darius as its new Chief Executive Officer.
A longtime company member of Capgemini Invent, Volker Darius leads a team of over 12,500 people at more than 36 locations and 37 creative studios worldwide. The company has revenues of more than €1.2 billion, including its subsidiaries frog (design and innovation) and Cambridge Consultants (technological innovation).
Darius has been with Capgemini group since 2008. Most recently, he served as Managing Director for Northern and Central Europe at Capgemini Invent and as Executive Sponsor for the Middle East business. His other leadership roles included Chief Client Officer and Global Head of Enterprise Transformation & Portfolio at Capgemini Invent.
Commenting on his appointment, Darius said: “I am thrilled to share that I am stepping into a new role as CEO of Capgemini Invent to lead this exciting next chapter. Together with our global team of strategists, innovators, technologists and scientists, we’ll push the boundaries and shape bold futures for and with our clients and partners.”

Volker Darius is a German national, he holds a degree in Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
