Swiss Microsoft Dynamics 365 specialist Lean Projects acquired by Cegeka
Lean Projects, a Swiss company specialising in ERP solutions for the print and packaging industry, has been acquired by Cegeka.
Founded in 2002, Lean Projects develops and implements Microsoft Dynamics 365 – Microsoft’s ERP platform for mid-sized businesses – for manufacturers in the print and packaging sector. The company also offers a suite of proprietary business applications tailored to the needs of its clients.
“Lean Projects has built a strong reputation with its industry-specific solution, which is deeply embedded in the core operations of its customers,” said Stijn Geeroms, Global Vice President for Business Solutions at Cegeka.
With the acquisition, Cegeka expands its portfolio of Microsoft-based industry solutions for the print and packaging sector. Geeroms added: “By combining that expertise with Cegeka’s global footprint and capabilities, we can provide stronger support, ensure long-term continuity, and help customers take the next step in scaling and innovating their solutions.”
The deal also marks Cegeka’s entry into the Swiss market. Lean Projects is headquartered in Schafisheim, a municipality in the canton of Aargau.
Over the coming months, the Lean Projects team will be integrated into Cegeka. The Belgian-founded IT services provider has confirmed that it will continue to invest in the further development of Lean Projects’ services and solutions.
“We have built our solutions step by step over the years and grown steadily to where we are today,” said Andreas Jegerlehner, CEO of Lean Projects. “Joining Cegeka feels like a natural next step. It allows us to continue doing what we do today, while benefiting from additional support to develop our solutions sustainably for the long term.”
Worldwide, Cegeka employs over 9,000 people across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The family-owned company has a turnover of around €1.3 billion.
