Hans Hoedemakers joins sustainability network Dazzle as Growth Marketer
Dazzle, a network for independent sustainability consultants, has appointed Hans Hoedemakers to its team as Growth Marketer.
In this newly created role, Hoedemakers will be responsible for growing Dazzle’s visibility among sustainability teams across Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
His primary focus will be on reaching the sustainability teams who are navigating one of the most common dilemmas in the field: whether to hire a full-time sustainability expert or engage a large consulting firm.
Founded in 2023 in the Netherlands, Dazzle has grown into a dedicated platform connecting sustainability managers with vetted, independent consultants across more than 100 areas of expertise.
Beyond brand awareness, Hoedemakers will lead Dazzle’s content strategy, developing practical and insightful content in close collaboration with Dazzle’s network of expert freelancers. The content is designed to support sustainability teams in doing their work better, from CSRD compliance and ESG reporting to climate change and decarbonisation.
“Sustainability teams are under more pressure than ever. Regulations, ESG ratings, board expectations, client requests, and the same or smaller headcount,” said Robert Smith, Founder and CEO of Dazzle. “Hans joins us at exactly the right moment. His role is to make sure that every sustainability team in Europe knows there is a smarter way to get the work done. We are excited to have him on board.”
“Sustainability teams shouldn’t have to choose between an expensive full-time hire and an impersonal consultancy. Dazzle gives them a third option that’s faster, more flexible, and more affordable,” said Hoedemakers. “I’ve spent my career helping companies grow through digital marketing. Doing that for a company whose growth actually accelerates the sustainability transition, that’s not something you say no to.”
Hoedemakers brings years of agency-side experience in digital marketing, with a focus on marketing automation, growth engineering, and content strategy.
