Greek M&A and corporate finance firm Alma Advisors joins IMAP network

Greek M&A advisory firm Alma Advisors has become a member of IMAP, one of the world’s larger independent mid-market M&A networks.

Established in 2020, Alma Advisors is a mid-market M&A and corporate finance advisory firm from Greece, operating from Athens with a second office in Limassol, Cyprus. The boutique consulting firm supports corporates, investors, family businesses and entrepreneurs with services including mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, capital raising, debt advisory, and investment appraisal.

Alma Advisors was co-founded by Nikolas Evangelou and Panagiotis Georgiou, experienced dealmakers who previously gained experience at firms including Deloitte, Clearwater, BDO, and BNP Paribas.

Commenting on the partnership, Georgiou said: “We are proud to join IMAP and become part of one of the world’s leading mid-market M&A advisory organisations. The combination of IMAP’s international platform and Alma Advisors’ local market presence creates a strong foundation to support entrepreneurs, corporates, and investors pursuing increasingly cross-border strategic opportunities.”

“We believe this partnership significantly strengthens our ability to deliver value to clients through deeper international connectivity, sector expertise, and access to strategic and financial counterparties worldwide.”

Founded in 1973, IMAP has more than 450 professionals across over 50 countries worldwide. In the first quarter of this year, the network completed 58 transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $4 billion.

Through this partnership, Alma Advisors becomes IMAP’s exclusive partner for Greece and Cyprus and will operate under the brand Alma IMAP.

Jurgis Oniunas, Chairman of IMAP, said: “We are delighted to welcome Alma Advisors to the IMAP family. Alma Advisors has established a strong reputation in the Greek mid-market through its trusted relationships, transaction experience, and deep understanding of the local business landscape. We look forward to working closely with the Alma Advisors team and introducing their expertise and perspective to colleagues and clients across the IMAP partnership.”
