Alliott Global Alliance strengthens Eurasia presence with Azerbaijan member firm
Alliott Global Alliance has gained a foothold in Azerbaijan through the addition of Baku-based Tax and Consulting.
The new representative firm expands Alliott Global Alliance’s coverage in the Eurasia region to three countries, with Tax and Consulting joining other members in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
“We are delighted to welcome Tax and Consulting to the network, strengthening our coverage in a strategically important part of Eurasia,” said Giles Brake, CEO of Alliott Global Alliance.
“Azerbaijan is a fast-developing commercial hub at the crossroads of Europe, Central Asia and the wider Eurasian region. Its position on the Middle Corridor, growing investment activity and expanding international tax framework make Baku an increasingly important market for our members and their clients.”
Founded in 2006, Tax and Consulting offers tax compliance and advisory, accounting, legal and audit services to clients operating in various industries, such as oil & gas, banking, construction, logistics, healthcare, and retail. The company is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan, as well as its counterparts for Italy, France and the United Kingdom.
Baku-based Tax and Consulting is led by Managing Partner Mushfig Aliyev, who previously held senior roles at PwC and KPMG. Since assuming ownership of the company early 2025, he has overseen a period of strong growth and development.
Commenting on the affiliation, Aliyev said: “Membership of Alliott Global Alliance provides an excellent platform to strengthen our role in facilitating inbound investment into Azerbaijan. We look forward to working alongside colleagues at fellow member firms to support clients entering the Azerbaijani market, while also helping domestic businesses pursue international growth opportunities through the global network of Alliott Global Alliance.”
“Beyond client work, we intend to contribute market intelligence and regulatory updates, collaborate on cross-border tax, M&A and corporate advisory matters, and participate actively in regional and global initiatives.”
Globally, Alliott Global Alliance has more than 340 offices in over 100 countries. The professional services network was founded in 1979.
