Atos Amplify appoints Joost Paalvast as partner in Dutch business
Atos Amplify, the business and technology consulting arm of Atos, has strengthened its partner team with the appointment of Joost Paalvast.
Joost brings more than 25 years of consulting experience to Atos Amplify. Throughout his career, he has advised and supported clients on end-to-end digital transformation, helping them develop their strategies and concepts before translating these into solutions, operating models and day-to-day operations.
He has deep expertise across digital vision and strategy, business design, operating models, technology, data and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on the financial services sector. Joost has worked with banks and insurers in the Netherlands, across Europe and in Asia-Pacific, supporting digital transformation and operational excellence ambitions.
“As financial institutions accelerate their transformation agendas, AI, data and digital innovation are becoming essential to building resilience, driving growth and strengthening long-term strategic independence,” said Joost. “At Atos Amplify, I look forward to helping our clients turn these ambitions into measurable business value by combining technology, people and business priorities to deliver practical, sustainable change.”
With financial services among the most advanced adopters of artificial intelligence, a key focus of Joost’s work will be helping institutions shape their AI strategies and ensure their initiatives deliver tangible business value from the transformative technology.
In Joost’s experience, achieving this requires an integrated approach that places people at the heart of transformation. “AI is changing the rules, but success still comes down to people. Technology creates opportunities; organisations create value.”
Joost joins Atos Amplify from Gartner, where he served as a Managing Partner in the firm’s Dutch business. Before that, he spent more than five years at Capgemini Invent and its design consultancy frog, following a 15-year career in Cognizant’s consulting practice.
Atos Amplify was established earlier this year with the aim to bring together Atos’ business and technology consulting capabilities under a single brand. The practice has around 800 consultants across Europe, with the Netherlands serving as one of its key markets.
