Four senior experts from a Big Four firm were tapped to establish and lead the operation. On the back of a growing domestic track record and client base, Alvarez & Marsal has in recent months expanded the team with a raft of new dealmakers.

During the spell, he was involved with 15 buy-side and 4 sell-side deals, providing financial due diligence and valuation services. Transactions De la Taille worked on include the acquisitions of DL Santé by Dedalus and instruments business Henri Selmer by financial sponsor Argos Soditic, and the deal between Thermocompact and Edify.
In De la Taille's footsteps, Bilal Baou also joined Alvarez & Marsal from KPMG, which he served for nearly three years across two spells. Latterly, he was an Analyst in the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services arm, based in Paris. Earlier in his career, the Grenoble Ecole de Management graduate also worked for energy giant Engie and Hay Group, a HR consulting firm that has since been acquired by human capital specialist Korn Ferry.
Having joined in June, Simane Idbalkassm is an associate at the global consulting firm. She previously worked nearly two years for KPMG, and one year for MBO Partenaires, a French-origin private equity company.
Following brief periods of experience gained at private equity group Apax Partners and counterparts Duff & Phelps and Deloitte, Amina Boudjatit joined Alvarez & Marsal last month.
