BrazilAlvarez & Marsal beefs up French Transaction Advisory Group
Alvarez & Marsal has in recent weeks beefed up its Transaction Advisory Group practice in France with three Big Four recruits.
Olivia Moon, Nicolas Grosselin and Kossi Aglamey-Pap all joined the French arm of the global consultancy from a Big Four firm. They work in the Transaction Advisory Group – the firm’s wing responsible for due diligence and transaction advisory services.
This practice launched in France in May last year with the hire of four senior M&A experts, and it has since gone from strength to strength, leading to the hire of several new recruits and senior advisors including Philippe Dupont and Nicolas Taufflieb.
Having served both PwC and EY in their Transaction Advisory Services groups in Mexico and Belgium, Kossi Aglamey-Pap – the most experienced of the trio – has been appointed a Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal. He specialises in transaction advisory and financial due diligence, and has worked on deals for SMEs, corporate investors, private equity funds, privately owned businesses as well as listed companies.
Aglamey-Pap has sat on both sides of the table (sell & buy side) on numerous transactions and several cross-border deals, with a focus on transactions in the automotive, consumer products and retail, financial services, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and real estate sectors.
Olivia Moon has been named an Assistant Director, she brings experience gained at Deloitte and KPMG to Alvarez & Marsal. Most recently, she was a Manager in Deloitte’s Transaction Services unit. In between the two Big Four firms, Moon held financial roles at JPMorgan Chase and French-origin IT services giant Atos.
Appointed a Senior Associate, Nicolas Grosselin previously worked in KPMG’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. During his three years at the firm, he contributed to eight buy-side and five sell-side financial due diligence engagements, including deals in the food & beverage, healthcare and chemicals sectors.
Meanwhile, in its junior ranks, Arnaud Muller and Maxime Frydman have joined as Analysts.
Globally, Alvarez & Marsal’s Transaction Advisory Group has over 350 professionals in 20+ offices. The unit is led by Paul Aversano, while the French arm is headed by Jonathan Gibbons.
