Swedish management consulting firm Cordial has joined The Transformation Alliance, a network of like-minded European consultancies collaborating on client delivery, training and thought leadership.

The Transformation Alliance was founded in 2008 by Kea & Partners, a French consulting firm in conjunction with Swedish management consultancy Preera. Reflecting on the development, Jörg Ohleyer, a senior partner at Kea & Partners, said, “In 2001, when we founded the firm, we knew that the international dimension was a necessity if we wanted to become successful and achieving our goals.”

Today, Kea & Partners is with around 200 consultants across offices in France, Morocco and Brazil the largest of The Transformation Alliance member firms. In 2010 the network was expanded with h&z Management Consulting, a consulting firm that emerged from Siemens in 1997 and today has around 120 consultants and staff in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.Swedish consultancy Cordial joins The Transformation AllianceThree years later The Transformation Alliance saw MBS Consulting joins its ranks – the Italian consultancy was founded in 1987 and has roughly 100 consultants based in offices in Rome and Milan. UK-headquartered Q5 joined last year, bringing to the table around 150 consultants specialised in organisational change, with offices in the UK, Australia, Hong Kong (launched in October 2018) and the United States.

The latest member firm, Cordial, lifts The Transformation Alliance’s footprint to over 550 consultants in 14 countries. Founded in 2001, Cordial supports clients in Sweden and in the Nordics with business consultancy and transformation services. Since inception, the firm – which has 40 advisors across offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg – has completed over 300 engagements.

An international footprint

Commenting on the affiliation with the pan-European network, Cordial’s chief executive officer Lise Tormod said; “There is a growing need for consultants with cutting-edge expertise and a modern approach. As a member of the alliance, we have the opportunity to give our customers access to a world-class global competence base.”

Michael Santo, managing partner h&z Management Consulting and president of The Transformation Alliance, said that Cordial provides the network with much sought after coverage in the growing Nordic consulting landscape. “With Cordial we have found a strong and ambitious new partner in Scandinavia to work with us as one team.”

Other large network of management consulting firms are Cordence Worldwide (larger members include Horvath & Partners, North Highland, Oresys, Twynstra Gudde and Valcon) and nextcontinent (larger members include Eurogroup Consulting, Curzon Consulting and YCP Solidiance).
