Leo Andronis joins Boston Consulting Group in Spain

Boston Consulting Group has appointed veteran consultant Leo Andronis as a partner in its Madrid office. 

Andronis brings over 20 years of industry and management consulting experience to the Spanish arm of the global strategy consulting firm. He is specialised in strategy, performance improvement, operations and supply chain management. 

Prior to joining Boston Consulting Group in its Madrid office, he was a Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal, and before that, he worked for Kearney (formerly A.T. Kearney) across two spells, and as Associate Partner Eden McCallum in the United Kingdom.

Outside of the consulting industry, Andronis served Georgia-Pacific, one of the world’s larger manufacturers of tissue, pulp, paper, packaging, based in Belgium; Mechanical Solutions, a US machine and engineering services company; and North American chemicals company Rohm and Haas.Leo Andronis, Partner at BCGAt BCG, Andronis will focus on developing and implementing growth strategy and short term profit improvement, with a focus on clients in energy, chemicals, pulp & paper, manufacturing and fast moving consumer goods sectors. He also has extensive experience working with private equity clients across the entire investment life cycle, from acquisitions and due diligence to operations improvement. 

“I bring a distinctly pragmatic approach backed with analytical rigor to driving both short term EBITDA improvement and long term strategic advantage,” remarked Andronis on his key strengths. 

Boston Consulting Group launched its Madrid office in 1988, and over the course of the past 30+ years, the office has steadily grown into a 200-strong team. The firm also has an office in Barcelona, which launched just after the turn of the century. 

Last year, BCG Spain bolstered its team with the acquisition of data science consultancy Kernel Analytics.
