Emilie Prattico joins BCG's BrightHouse as Director of Strategy
Emilie Prattico has joined Boston Consulting Group in France, appointed Director of Strategy of its BrightHouse subsidiary.
BrightHouse is a global consultancy that helps organisations uncover their purpose – their raison d'être – under the belief that those that do take a holistic view to operations can grow their profit, while simultaneously growing people, sustainability and social impact.
In June 2015, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) acquired BrightHouse, and since the global management consultancy has been expanding its footprint across its offices globally. In April last year, BCG launched its BrightHouse in the French market, where it is led by Mathieu Menegaux.
New to the Paris-based BrightHouse team is Emilie Prattico, an experienced professional working at the nexus between climate change, business, and policy, with a demonstrated history of working on corporate social responsibility, international relations, policy analysis, and business development.
She over the years has worked with some of the world's largest companies to help them define and embody their purpose, making her an ideal fit with BrightHouse, said Menegaux. “We are delighted to welcome Emilie, she will be a true asset to our company and clients.”
Most recently, Prattico was Director of Development at We Mean Business, a Paris-based nonprofit coalition working with the world’s most influential businesses to take action on climate change. In the role, she led fundraising efforts and worked closely with the institution’s chief executive officer.
Before that, she worked at Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) in its French office, leading the regional development and stewardship of partnerships with government, the private sector, and civil society. Prattico also gained experience in consulting, serving two boutique consultancies.
Alongside her professional career, Prattico served nine years as a university lecturer in philosophy and sociology, a role which saw her briefly work for Boston Consulting Group as a Visiting Associate back in 2012.
Emilie Prattico holds a PhD in Philosophy from Northwestern University, an MSc in Management and Sustainability from HEC and a BA in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Oxford.
