UK consultancy Gobeyond Partners expands into Germany
UK consulting firm Gobeyond Partners has expanded into Germany, opening an office in Nuremberg.
Gobeyond Partners is a consulting firm specialised in improving the customer journey and the sales & marketing function, from strategy and operating model design through to implementation and technology services. Up until recently, the firm has been servicing its clients in the DACH region – Germany, Austria and Switzerland – from its offices in London and Paris.
“We have delivered work for DACH clients for a number of years,” explained Mark Palmer, CEO of Gobeyond Partners, “and a local team and location has always been part of our plan.”
Facing heightened demand for its services “because of the rapid digitisation of channels and cost transformation agenda that many companies are facing”, he said the time was now right to now establish an on the ground presence in the region.
The new hub is based in Nuremberg, in an office that is shared with Webhelp, the parent company of Gobeyond Partners. Webhelp is a 50,000-strong global technology and solutions firm that helps organisations with among others customer experience solutions, social media moderation and payment services.
Markus von Rhein, the CEO of Webhelp in DACH, welcomed the launch of Gobeyond Partners, highlighting that it will enable Webhelp to also helps its clients with the more strategic and tactical side of customer journey transformations.
Appointed to head the Gobeyond Partners in DACH is Ludger Strom, who brings two decades of experience to the role. He most recently was a Director in the Consulting win of Teleperformance, a company specialised in outsourced customer experience services, and before that he worked several years for Capita in Germany.
He will lead a team of consultants tasked with establishing and expanding Gobeyond Partners in the region, focus on clients in the high tech, financial services, automotive, health, e-commerce and retail sectors.
Strom said: “I look forward to supporting our current clients in the region, as well as partnering with new clients who are accelerating their digital customer journey strategies. It’s a very exciting time for us. We have some ambitious targets for the next year and I am actively looking for talent in the market to grow the team.”
Two years ago, Gobeyond Partners accelerated its growth through the acquisition of UK-based OEE Consulting. Today, the consulting group has around 250 consultants and staff across its footprint.
