Karin de Sousa Nobre joins Deloitte's Value Creation Services arm
Eleven years after leaving the firm, Karin de Sousa Nobre has returned to Deloitte as a partner in its Value Creation Services wing.
Between 1998 and 2009, Karin de Sousa Nobre worked for Deloitte in Spain, ascending the ranks to become a Director. During her tenure, she focused on topics including mergers & acquisitions, process improvements, sourcing and supply chain management, working for multinationals in Spain and large Spanish organisations across sectors.
She also played a lead role in the launch of Deloitte’s national Post Merger Integration and Carve-out practice, and led a number of integrations and separations at IBEX 40 companies.
Over the past decade, De Sousa Nobre worked for two major consulting firms as a partner – Alvarez & Marsal and most recently Roland Berger – and in between she served a boutique specialised in advisory, merger integration and turnaround services.
Het track record in this period includes: realising EBIDTA and cash-flow improvements at multinational corporations, supporting companies with business strategy and value creation, delivering M&A and integration plans, conducting due diligence processes, realising business transformations including major cultural changes, and overseeing supply chain & logistics optimisation programmes.
At Deloitte, De Sousa Nobre becomes a part of its Value Creation Services practice – an arm which provides private equity groups with the full lifecycle of offerings for their portfolios, from deal identification and execution through to transformation and turnaround. The practice works closely with Deloitte’s teams in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services and Consulting, as well as Monitor Deloitte.
The 52-year-old, who is based in Deloitte’s Amsterdam office, will in particular focus on the topics of commercial due diligence, revenue acceleration and merger & acquisition operations.
Across Europe, Deloitte’s Value Creation Services platform has over 40 partners and more than 350 consultants. The unit is led by UK-based Jason Caulfield.
