OC&C Strategy Consultants has appointed a new partner in its French office: Stéphane Blanchard.
Appointed a senior partner and Head of OC&C’s Consumer, Leisure and Private Equity practices in France, Stéphane Blanchard has been tasked with contributing to the firm’s growth in the country since its transition to an integrated operating model three years ago.
Blanchard brings over two decades of consulting experience to the international strategy consulting boutique. Prior to joining OC&C Strategy Consultants, he was a senior partner at French counterpart Advancy, where he led the firm’s private equity practice. Before that, he was a partner at Roland Berger in its Paris office.
Earlier in his career, Blanchard worked six years for Monitor Deloitte (the strategy consulting subsidiary of Deloitte), becoming a partner at the firm in 2013, and nine years for Accenture in its consulting wing.
In his new role, he will from a client perspective lead strategic studies and commercial due diligence projects for corporates and financial sponsors, with a focus on clients in the consumer goods sector. Blanchard also works with private equity firms on value creation across their portfolios. Internally, he will work together with the other Paris-based partners to expand the service portfolio and grow the team.
OC&C Strategy Consultants first established an on the ground presence in France in 1996. In 2017 the firm saw its domestic practice snapped up, and since then OC&C has been rebuilding the team, last year booking double-digit growth despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
