BrazilKristof Lambert new leader of Accenture in Belgium & Luxembourg
Accenture has installed a new Country Managing Director for Belgium & Luxembourg: Kristof Lambert.
“I’m extremely proud and happy with this new opportunity but at the same time I’m extremely humble,” said Lambert on his elevation to the top role, effective 1 September 2021. Lambert brings over two decades of experience to the position, sixteen years of which at Accenture.
He joined the global consulting and technology giant in 2005 as a Senior Manager in the firm’s Financial Services practice, having before that served Bank of New York Mellon. Over the years, Lambert grew the ranks within the industry vertical, most recently serving as leader of the Financial Services division, focused on delivering Accenture’s full suite of services to banking, insurance, and capital markets clients.
As Country Managing Director of Accenture Belgium & Luxembourg, Lambert heads the firm’s strategic direction in the two countries, as well as its innovation agenda. He also oversees all internal operations including client management, resourcing and human resources. In a dual role, Lambert remains the leader of the Financials Services practice.

Lambert succeeds Bart De Ridder, who held the role since September 2015, when he took the reins from Olivier Gillerot (now a partner at Bain & Company). Under De Ridder’s wings, Accenture cemented its position as one of the leading consulting and technology firms in Belgium and Luxembourg, and expanded its presence in relatively new domains including cloud, creative, design and digital transformation.
De Ridder remains with Accenture, and has been appointed as Intelligent Platform Services Lead for France and the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg). “I’m proud to pass the baton to Kristof and I wish him all the best.”
