The leadership changes at the top of L.E.K. Consulting have continued, with the election of Ben Faircloth as its new Head of Europe. Faircloth succeeds Clay Heskett, who is himself ascending to the role of Global Managing Partner.

Founded in 1983, L.E.K. Consulting is a strategic consultancy which employs more than 1,600 professionals across the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe. Guiding leaders across all industries, from global corporations to emerging entrepreneurial businesses and private equity investors, the consultancy deploys deep industry expertise and rigorous analysis to help business leaders achieve practical results.

Assuming the position of the firm’s Head of Europe in early November, Ben Faircloth (who has been a partner with L.E.K. Consulting since 2009) will oversee the offices in London, Paris, Madrid, Wroclaw and Munich.

Having focused on healthcare throughout his career, including contract pharma services, clinical healthcare services and medical devices, Faircloth boasts close to two decades of consulting experience across Europe. He specialises in strategic planning, market entry strategies, and transaction due diligence on both the sell and buy sides.

Based in London, he will remain Global Co-Head of the firm’s Healthcare practice and serve as a member of the European Regional Management Committee.

Speaking on his election by L.E.K. Consulting’s partnership, Faircloth noted, “I am really honoured to represent our partnership in this role and look forward to connecting with our outstanding team across Europe as we continue to support our clients’ growth agendas. Having worked with Clay [Heskett] for more than a decade in client work, I am also excited to continue our collaboration in firm leadership.”

Faircloth’s predecessor, Clay Heskett, is also taking on a new role within the firm. Earlier in the autumn, L.E.K. Consulting elected him to become the company’s next global boss, as L.E.K. Consulting picks up heightened consultancy demand following the coronavirus pandemic.

Commenting on his successor, Heskett stated, “Ben has made a huge contribution to the firm in his leadership roles in healthcare and has earned the trust of his clients and partners. I have every confidence that Ben will lead the region to strong growth while continuing to make L.E.K. Consulting a fantastic home for top talent.”
