HSO, a transformation partner dedicated to the Microsoft technology platform, has been lauded by an independent analyst house for its industry-leading track record in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 space.

In the inaugural edition of the Dynamics 365 Services PEAK Matrix Assessment, researcher Everest Group benchmarked the track record of leading Microsoft 365 partners across two dimensions: market impact, and vision & capabilities. Dozens of consulting, implementation and technology providers were scrutinised with the aim of uncovering those that excel in helping clients deliver their Microsoft 365 ambitions.

Leading the pack are a group of global Microsoft powerhouses – Accenture, Avanade, HLC Technologies, Hitachi Solutions and Infosys – with a next band of nine firms identified as ‘major contenders’ to these five leaders. Among the major contenders is HSO, an Amsterdam-headquartered consulting group dedicated to the Microsoft suite.

With 1,300 professionals across Europe, North America and Asia, HSO punches considerably above its weight – all of its peers ranked as leaders or major contenders are (significantly) larger. According to Abhishek Mundra, Practice Director at Everest Group, HSO owes its frontrunning position to a number of key differentiators.

For one, “clients recognise HSO’s extensive technical and domain expertise. The firm has deep domain expertise specifically in industries such financial services, manufacturing, retail, distribution, and consumer goods, and provides good coverage across multiple functional areas including finance, supply chain, sales, service, and human resources.”

A second factor is the firm’s ability to hit the ground running quickly, and when needed scale up – globally. “HSO has a strong talent pool and global delivery capabilities meaning that the firm is well equipped to serve clients with complex multi-workload and multi-national requirements for Dynamics 365.”

Meanwhile, HSO was further lauded for its industry-first vision, the quality of its thought leadership in the landscape and its growing track record in the landscape, having bagged multiple Dynamics 365 partner awards over the past years.

Taken together, “these capabilities have helped position HSO as a major contender in the PEAK Matrix Assessment and an absolute leader when it comes to the impact it leaves behind in the market,” said Mundra.

Continuing to invest

Paul Hope, HSO’s Group CMO, commented: “We are thrilled with this recognition, alongside some of the largest global names in the industry. This is a strong testament to the dedication of our employees to help our clients accelerate the impact of digital transformation and drive improvements in business performance by leveraging the power Microsoft technology.”

Looking ahead, Hope added the firm is not resting on its laurels, “We continue to enhance our worldwide operations by investing in intellectual property, expanding our global footprint and adding new industry capabilities.”

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is Microsoft’s flagship business application and one of the world’s leading ERP solutions. The ERP system is popular among enterprises for the benefits it brings to operations and decision-making, as well as its affordability (versus competitors) and close integration with the Microsoft stack.
