Simon-Kucher installs Anne Rupp as inaugural CSR and ESG Director
Simon-Kucher & Partners has appointed Anne Rupp as the firm’s inaugural Global Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Director.
The German, who joins externally, has been tasked with shaping and implementing Simon-Kucher’s corporate social responsibility and sustainability strategy and agenda.
“Simon-Kucher is very professional and a young, spirited, growing company. I am very excited for the opportunity to drive our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts into the future. Moving forward, it is my goal that each business decision made should take ESG into consideration, meaning that sustainability is fully integrated within the business strategy,” said Rupp.
Founded in 1985, Simon-Kucher & Partners has more than 1,600 consultants and staff in 40+ offices worldwide. The global consulting firm specialises in three areas of work: commercial strategy, sales & marketing and pricing. The German-origin group also has a digital solutions line of business.
Based in the firm’s Berlin office, Rupp will lead corporate social responsibility efforts including pro bono work, diversity & inclusion efforts, working with social enterprises and NGOs, and the firm’s purpose agenda.
In the area of sustainability, Rupp will oversee the roadmap towards Simon-Kucher’s net-zero ambitions, including initiatives aimed at lowering internal CO2 emissions, greening transport nodes used and lifting ESG awareness among partners and employees.

Rupp’s experience spans over 20 years, 10 of which are focused on corporate social responsibility and sustainability. Most recently, Rupp worked at Scout24 in Berlin where she drove the sustainability agenda within the organisation. Before that, she spent nearly five years at NABU (Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union), where she advised clients on various CSR topics.
