Bain & Company's Amsterdam office welcomes three new partners
Global strategy consulting firm Bain & Company has appointed three new partners in its Amsterdam office.
Alejandro Navarro and Simon Turner have been promoted to partner in the Amsterdam office, as part of the firm’s annual January promotion round. Across its 63 offices in 38 countries, Bain & Company promoted a total of 78 individuals to the leadership positions of partner and expert partner, following a strong year for the consulting firm despite the continued disruption caused by the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Robin Bartling has joined the Dutch partner group from Bain’s team in Brazil, where he was a partner for the past five years.
Alejandro Navarro (34) is a member of the firm’s Consumer Products and Sustainability & Responsibility practices. Since joining Bain & Company in 2009, he has gained extensive experience in strategy, sustainability, performance improvement and supply chain topics.
He transferred to Bain & Company’s Amsterdam office in 2018, having previously worked in the firm’s US and Mexico offices.

Having relocated to Amsterdam at the start of this month, Bartling supports clients in the Netherlands and region with corporate and business unit strategy, customer experience, pricing, sales & marketing, supply chain design, cost reduction and mergers & acquisitions.
Simon Turner (36) has more than 12 years of consulting experience in the UK and the Netherlands and has led projects in the US, South East Asia and West Africa where he has worked with corporate, private equity and civil society clients.
He joined Bain & Company in 2014 from Accenture (where he was part of Accenture Strategy), crossing over to the Amsterdam office in 2018. Turner is a member of the Energy & Natural Resources and Advanced Manufacturing Services practices with a particular focus on strategy, mergers & acquisitions and due diligence.
Commenting on the appointments, Véronique Pauwels, Managing Partner of Bain’s Amsterdam office, said: “I am very excited that Alejandro, Robin and Simon are joining our partner team. I am proud that our team has been able to grow so much in recent years and they will contribute greatly to our clients’ business success.”
