Swedish management consultancy Axholmen has promoted two of its team members to partner: Caroline Öhrberg and Richard Cecchini.

Founded in 2007, Stockholm-based Axholmen specialises in helping clients with three lines of business: commercial excellence, performance improvement and organisational change. Since its inception, the firm (which brands itself as a local alternative to the large global players) has delivered projects at 100+ clients and grown its team to 20+ consultants.

Having been with the consulting firm since 2009 and 2016 respectively, Caroline Öhrberg and Richard Cecchini have now joined Axholmen’s partnership.

Their appointment lifts the size of the leadership team to five, with Milosz Tersmeden (co-founder and ex-Accenture), Erik Mokvist (a partner since 2014 and ex-Applied Value) and Joakim Landholm (a partner since 2021 and ex-Accenture) the other (more senior) partners.

Commenting on her promotion, Öhrberg said: “I look forward to further develop and grow Axholmen – all together with a fantastic team of passionate and inspiring colleagues!”

Fellow freshly appointed partner Cecchini remarked: “The combination of a successful, young company but where there are still lots of things to develop and improve is enticing. I look forward to contributing to the firm’s ambition.”

Commenting on their promotions, Managing Partner Milosz Tersmeden said: “With strong business development, leadership and being highly appreciated by clients and colleagues, Caroline and Richard are key to our future success. We congratulate them on their well-deserved promotion and look forward to many more successful (and fun) years together!”
