Clément Eymard leads Comatch in Southern Europe and Middle East
International consulting marketplace Comatch has promoted Clément Eymard to Managing Director of its Southern Europe, Middle East and North Africa region.
Clément Eymard has been with the platform for independent consultants since mid-2019. With a decade of consulting and sales experience under his belt, Eymard was brought on board to lead the firm’s operations in the French market.
Comatch first established a presence in France in 2017, and today, the country is the firm’s second largest market behind Germany and ahead of the United Kingdom.
Following the promotion to Director International early 2021, Eymard has now again made a step up, handed the remit to lead Comatch’s operations in growth markets including Spain, Portugal, Morocco the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
Comatch launched in the Middle East in 2016, and two years later, Comatch entered the Spanish and Portuguese market. The North African market is overseen by the firm’s team in Paris.
In his new role, the 37-year-old Eymard will be responsible for “accelerating our activity in the three regions, supported by country directors and a team of 17 people,” said Christoph Hardt, one of Comatch’s two co-founders alongside Jan Schächtele (both are former McKinsey consultants).
Eymard succeeds Bernhard Ney, a former BCG’er who spent four years with Comatch and recently departed to take on an entrepreneurial adventure.
Founded in 2015, Comatch is a matchmaker of independent consultants and experts. Since its inception, the private-equity backed company has become one of the leading marketplaces with European roots, with its database currently comprising over 15,000 vetted consultants in 100+ countries. The majority of its affiliated consultants are former strategy consultants and Big Four members.
