Comatch promotes Céline Darmont to director for France

Comatch has appointed a new director for its French operation: Céline Darmont, who now leads the firm’s second largest market.

The 36-year-old most recently served as director of the business development representative team. In the position, she played a prominent role in the growth of Comatch in France. Having launched in the country in 2017, France is now the firm’s second market in revenue behind home market Germany and ahead of the United Kingdom.

“Céline led the creation of our business development representative team globally, which today serves as the cornerstone of our growth strategy in the French market,” said Clément Eymard, Managing Director of Comatch for Southern Europe, Middle East and North Africa.

Darmont joined the consulting matchmaker (Comatch connects clients with top-tier independent management consultants) in 2018, following a decade in financial and controlling roles at marketing group Criteo and entertainment giant Walt Disney, among others. She started her career as an auditor at Deloitte, in the firm’s Paris office.

Now at the helm of the French operation, Darmont has been tasked with expanding the firm’s client portfolio and its network of independent consultants. She leads a core team of employees that oversee Comatch’s business development, account management, project delivery and resourcing, and back-office activities.

Founded in 2015, Comatch is Europe’s largest homegrown marketplace for freelance consulting engagements, with its database currently comprising over 15,000 vetted consultants in 100+ countries. The majority of its affiliated consultants are former strategy consultants and Big Four members.
