NMS Consulting appoints Igor Kuruc to establish Czech foothold

As part of its European expansion ambitions, NMS Consulting is eyeing establishing a base in the Czech Republic. Igor Kuruc has been brought on board to establish and grow the firm’s first office in the country.

The US-headquartered management consultancy currently has six offices in Europe, five in Western Europe (Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, London, and Paris) and one at the crossroads between Europe and the Middle East (Istanbul).

With the appointment of Igor Kuruc, a seasoned board level manager, NMS Consulting is preparing the ground for its first office in Central and Eastern Europe.

Based in Prague, Kuruc has been handed the remit to “establish our first office in the Czech Republic and grow the regional team,” said Trevor Saliba, Founder and Managing Partner at NMS Consulting.

Kuruc brings over three decades of experience to the consulting firm, with a strong focus on the oil & gas and energy sectors. More recently at Shell Czech Republic, he was Vice Chairman of the Board, and during his ten years with the oil major in the country, he held several other leadership roles.

Earlier in his career, he spent around a decade with other players in the oil & gas sector, and served Procter & Gamble for four years, where he was a Financial Analysis Manager.

Leveraging his experience, he will initially focus on landing launching clients in the oil & gas and energy landscape. “Igor’s background and the experience he gained at Shell are welcome attributes in today’s geopolitical environment. With commodity prices rising quickly due to the Russia-Ukraine war, Igor’s consulting prowess can make an immense impact for companies,” said Saliba.
