Kristof De Coster joins EFESO Consulting’s Belgium executive committee
After spending more than a decade at another consultancy, Kristof De Coster has joined EFESO Consulting as a leader in the firm’s European division and a member of the executive committee in Belgium.
“I’m delighted to join EFESO Consulting, and am fully energized for this new challenge,” said De Coster, a Belgian national who operates out of EFESO Consulting’s Brussels office.
A recognised logistics and supply chain expert, De Coster has been appointed head of EFESO Consulting’s supply chain practice across Northern Europe. “With more than 20 years of combined industry and consulting experience in supply chain, Kristof will accelerate the development of our end-to-end value chain offering,” said Didier Brackenier, a board member at EFESO Consulting.
De Coster most recently served Big Four firm PwC, where he spent over a decade in its supply chain wing, latterly as a director. “It was an exciting ride showing me all parts of the world, different cultures, industries and companies. A big thanks to all interesting people I came across and in particular to all team members who made me better as a person and as a professional,” he said.
Before that, De Coster worked seven years in industry, holding roles at an international equipment manufacturer and at a personal hygiene provider.
Now at EFESO Consulting, an award-winning consultancy specialised in operations strategy and performance improvement (800+ staff in 35 offices around the world), the Belgian will lead the firm’s supply chain offerings in the region, and provide counsel to clients across sectors, with a focus on players in consumer goods, agriculture and industrial products.
Among the offerings provided by EFESO Consulting’s supply chain practice are: supply chain strategy, network optimisation, supply chain integration, inventory optimisation, working capital management, and digital supply chain.
In other EFESO Consulting news, last month the firm beefed up its US presence with the acquisition of Chicago-based Argo Consulting (90 staff).
