BrazilDogma Alares expands partner team with Burcu Tokmak
Turkey-headquartered management consultancy Dogma Alares has bolstered its partner team with Burcu Tokmak.
Burcu Tokmak joins the partnership of Dogma Alares following a two year association with the 40-strong firm. In the role of Senior Advisor, Tokmak helped several of the firm’s clients with strategic and organisational change programs.
This included supporting a leading Turkish pension & life insurance company with the development of its 5 year strategic plan, and advising a multinational in the fast moving consumer goods space on the setup and launch of an online B2B marketplace as part of a global initiative.
Tokmak brings over two decades of experience to Dogma Alares’ partnership, including six years in strategy consulting with Boston Consulting Group (where she mainly worked for clients in consumer goods and banking) and OC&C Strategy Consultants (where she latterly co-led the firm’s Istanbul office).
In between, Tokmak held leadership roles in industry. At Sabancı Holding, one of Turkey’s leading conglomerates, she was Director of Strategy and Business Development, and led the CEO’s Office, and earlier at luxury brand Beymen, she led Strategy and Business Development.

Burcu Tokmak holds an MBA from University of Michigan Ross Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University.
