Microsoft has unveiled its top Microsoft Dynamics 365 partners of the year, lauding four consultancies across five categories for their excellence in Microsoft Dynamics 365 services.

Announced at the annual Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards, Abakion (Denmark), HSO (Netherlands), Avanade (US) and Hitachi Solutions (Japan) have been named the leading consultants and system integrators for Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is the latest edition of Microsoft’s ERP software solution. The solution helps business run their entire operations, from sales & marketing and customer service, through to finance & accounting, supply chain, logistics, and management reporting.

Out of more than 2,000 submitted nominations from Microsoft partners in 100+ countries worldwide, the winning group of consulting firms were selected for “demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions, based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology,” said Nicole Dezen, Chief Partner Officer and Corporate Vice President of Global Partner Solutions at Microsoft.

Abakion, a firm with offices in Copenhagen and Aarhus, was named the winner in the Dynamics 365 Business Central category. The Danish firm has an established track record in Business Central (a solution for small and medium-sized businesses), with one of its consultants (Kenneth Kryger Gram) even part of Microsoft’s exclusive 20-person Partner Advisory Council for the ‘Business Applications’ domain.

HSO is an international consulting firm with 2,200 professionals dedicated to Microsoft technology. The Netherlands-headquartered company bagged the Dynamics 365 Finance award for the fourth time since its inception, and even came close to winning a second category (Dynamics 365 Sales & Marketing).

Commenting on the award, Paul Hope, Chief Marketing Officer of HSO, said: “We are delighted to be recognised by Microsoft for the clear impact that we are having in the markets that we serve, which is testament to the hard work and dedication of all HSO employees worldwide.”

Avanade, which also is dedicated to Microsoft technologies, took home the Dynamics 365 Sales & Marketing award, while Hitachi Solutions earned the year’s top bragging rights by landing two awards, for Dynamics 365 Services and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain.

Created in April 2000 by Accenture and Microsoft, Avanade today has over 50,000 staff worldwide. Hitachi is a Japanese conglomerate with all kinds of business activities, with its Hitachi Solutions subsidiary specialising in Microsoft solutions and services.
