Turner & Townsend launches 2nd Dutch office in Eindhoven
Turner & Townsend has launched a new office in Eindhoven, the firm’s second in the Netherlands alongside Amsterdam.
UK-headquartered Turner & Townsend has over 10,500 staff in around 50 countries, with its presence in the Netherlands tracing back some 25 years ago. Today, the local team comprises over 130 consultants and staff.
Dennis de Wolf, Director Real Estate at Turner & Townsend, said the firm’s expansion into Eindhoven comes in response to growing demand for its services from clients in the region, as well as from the northern parts of Belgium (Flanders). “Our clients have urged us to setup shop closer to their home, and we are delighted to have now made this happen.”
Turner & Townsend has signed a multiyear lease for an office of around 50 m2 in De Emma, a recently renovated 5-star office building in the centre of the city. Financial terms of the lease have not been disclosed.
Among the flagship projects Turner & Townsend has worked on in the Netherlands include helping Schiphol Airport with an expansion programme, supporting the European Patent Office with its new build office, helping Shell with the renovation of its headquarters in The Hague, and guiding Plastic Energy and Sabic through the build of a new recycling plant in Geleen.
Turner & Townsend specialises in programme and project management services for works in the built environment, as well as cost and quality control. The firm also has lines of business that focus on advising public-private partnerships, and streamlining project-related procurement.
The Amsterdam office of Turner & Townsend is located in the Rembrandt Tower, named after the famed painter Rembrandt van Rijn and still the highest skyscraper in the country’s capital city.
