Detecon appoints Tobias Braun as chief financial officer

International consulting firm Detecon has appointed Tobias Braun appointed as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Operating out of Germany, where Deteconis headquartered, Tobias Braun will oversee the firm’s financial function. He becomes a member of the 3-person management board, alongside Jürgen Schäfer (CEO) and Simone Wamsteker (CHRO).

“We are very pleased to welcome Tobias. He is an internationally experienced financial expert with deep understanding of the consulting business and professional services. We are confident he will make an important contribution to Detecon’s further growth as a technology-driven management consultancy,” said Schäfer.

Braun has been hired from Detecon’s parent company, T-Systems, where he led the corporate controlling and finance department. Before that, he held several senior and executive leadership roles at Deutsche Telekom, as well as at Telekom Strategy Consulting, overseeing global business transformation projects. He started his career with the consulting firm Droege Group.
