SkySparc buys boutique Danish treasury consultancy Infiniance
Nordic consulting firm SkySparc has acquired Infiniance, a Copenhagen-based firm specialised in advisory and implementation services to treasury departments.
Founded in 2002, SkySparc is one of the larger Swedish-origin management and technology consultancies dedicated to the financial services sector. The consulting firm has 140 staff, operating from offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg.
With the addition of Infiniance, SkySparc expands its on the ground presence into Denmark, and deepens its capabilities in finance and most notably, treasury management. The bolt-on also brings added expertise in technologies such as SAP, FIS, and Kyriba.
Infiniance, which is based on the blend of the words ‘infinite’ and ‘finance’, was founded in 2013 and has since grown into a 20-strong team of finance and treasury consultants. Working chiefly with corporate treasuries, the boutique maintains close partnerships with leading software providers in the treasury domain, including SAP, FIS, and Kyriba.
Joakim Wiener, CEO of SkySparc, commented: “Combining strengths with Infiniance enables SkySparc to offer our clients a broader range of expertise and a more robust partnership in today’s challenging environment. With Infiniance’s advanced capabilities in treasury and risk management, working capital, payment solutions, and compliance, we enhance our ability to support our clients through critical transitions and technological migrations.”
Henrik Juhler, Managing Partner of Infiniance, said the joining of forces with the larger Nordic counterpart will enable its team to deliver more impact at clients. “We are pleased to enhance our service offerings in the Nordics. This expansion also allows us to integrate SkySparc’s robust technological solutions into our service offerings to our Danish clients.”
Meanwhile, both firms said the coming together will enhance their ability to serve clients outside of the Nordics. Infiniance for example already has clients in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and India. SkySparc too has a client portfolio in European countries, as well as a start-up operation in the United States.
