Geert-Jan Bouwhuis joins Livingstone’s partner team in Amsterdam office

Global middle-market M&A and debt advisory firm Livingstone has strengthened its partner team in Amsterdam with Geert-Jan Bouwhuis.

Geert-Jan Bouwhuis brings over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions and strategic advice to Livingstone. He most recently spent nine years at Randstad, a multinational in the HR services and staffing industry, where he latterly served as Managing Director for Corporate Strategy and M&A.

Before that, Bouwhuis spent over decade at Big Four firm PwC, where he grew the ranks within its Corporate Finance business. Having grown from Analyst to Senior Manager, he gained extensive experience in topics such as buy-side and sell-side transactions, (re)financing, financial advisory, and business case modelling.

At Livingstone, Bouwhuis will focus on deals in the HR services and staffing sector. “The firm’s focus on the middle-market, its international presence, reputation for delivering outstanding client outcomes, and strong industry focus make it the perfect platform for taking a leading role in the continuing M&A wave in the HR services and staffing sector,” Bouwhuis said.

He joins Livingstone’s around 20-strong team in the Amsterdam, which is one of the company’s eleven offices worldwide.
