Eden McCallum shares AI best practices and tips at AI Forum
Following Eden McCallum’s recent research highlighting AI’s rapidly growing impact on consultants, it came as little surprise that the firm placed AI at the centre of its latest Forum. The event brought together around 200 consultants to explore the transformative potential of AI and share best practices.
Earlier this year, Eden McCallum published its annual report on key trends shaping the consulting profession. One of the most prominent themes: the increasing adoption of artificial intelligence. The headline finding? Approximately 8 in 10 consultants are now using AI in their work, with over a third relying on the technology (nearly) every day.
Consultants are using AI most commonly for research, brainstorming, and information gathering. However, the value of AI extends far beyond these areas, with use cases emerging across virtually all aspects of consulting activities.
AI Forum
As part of its ongoing learning & development offering for independent consultants in its network, Eden McCallum hosts Forums to promote knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices. The most recent Forum, held last month, focused entirely on AI and its practical applications in consulting.
“The event focused on sharing the latest best practice in using generative AI to enhance our everyday work as consultants, drawing on the expertise within our network and our shared experience testing new and specialised applications,” said Heleen Wachters, Partner at Eden McCallum in the Amsterdam office.
Wachters opened the session alongside fellow partner Cyrus Ditzel, offering an overview of the power of generative AI in consulting. Together, they shared real-world examples of how Eden McCallum is embedding AI into both client engagements and internal operations.
The next presentation came from Justin Tan, an expert in guiding organisations and individuals through the evolving AI landscape. He offered practical insights on storyboarding, specific tools, and lessons learned from his experience within the industry.
Nikki-Rie van der Meer meanwhile presented two research case studies that demonstrated effective and efficient ways to harness AI tools. She also addressed common challenges, including how to mitigate hallucinations, and highlighted recent advances in AI platforms.
With its network of consultants up to speed on the latest AI capabilities, Eden McCallum is well-positioned to continue leveraging AI tools to enhance both client outcomes and internal performance, said Ditzel. “It was great to discuss the rapid progress in applying generative AI in our work – helping our independent consultants to remain on top of the developments.”
Going forward, Eden McCallum will continue to share best practices on AI through its thought leadership and events.
