BCG subsidiary Inverto launches 5th German office in Berlin
Inverto, the procurement and supply chain subsidiary of Boston Consulting Group, has launched a new office in Berlin.
The new office in Germany’s capital city becomes the 5th for Inverto in Germany, and its 14th in Europe. The expansion comes months after Inverto announced its new growth-oriented strategy, and hot on the heels of the firm’s expansion into the Middle East market.
Meanwhile, Inverto has also expanded into Bangkok and is preparing to launch a new base in Atlanta, further accelerating its US growth plans.
“We are expanding in direct response to growing client demand,” says Daniel Weise, CEO of Inverto. “Opening these new offices is not just a milestone for the business, but a reflection of the rising importance of procurement across every industry.”
“Procurement plays a critical role for businesses. It has become a board-level priority and enables true competitive advantage,” Weise continues. “Procurement today is about more than just cost savings – it’s about solving the biggest business challenges, building resiliency, driving sustainability, innovation, and create lasting competitive advantage.”
Founded in 2000 in Germany, Inverto operated independently until 2017, when it was acquired by strategy consulting powerhouse Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Since joining forces, Inverto has more than quadrupled in size to its current headcount of over 700 experts across 20 offices worldwide.
Inverto leads the procurement offering of Boston Consulting Group, while the two firms work closely together on topics such as supply chain, large-scale business transformation, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
