LeadingMile Consulting kicks off process for 2025 Fund Survey
LeadingMile Consulting, fundbuddy and Van Campen Liem have kicked off the process for their 2025 Netherlands Fund Survey, an annual study into key developments in the Dutch alternative investment market.
The study brings together the perspectives from fund managers, administrators and technology experts to provide a clear view of trends shaping fund operations, regulation and investor servicing. The final report will shed light on how industry players across the landscape are advancing their operational and technological maturity, while adapting to new challenges and opportunities.
The study focuses on the large cap segment of the market – fully licensed AIFMD fund managers with assets under management of over €500 million.
“Our Fund Survey reflects how our industry grows together through shared insights,” says Martijn Voorhaar, CEO of LeadingMile Consulting. “By collecting perspectives from experienced managers and operational leaders, we create a benchmark that helps the market understand where it stands and where it is heading.”
The 2025 edition places a special focus on the perspective of senior professionals and decision-makers who lead strategic and digital transformation across private markets. The goal is to highlight how established firms are approaching topics such as automation, data quality and regulatory readiness.
Participation is open to fund managers, administrators and service providers across the Netherlands. Respondents will receive early access to the results and an executive summary of the key findings as well as access to future exclusive events.
Building on the previous study
Last year’s study found that alternative fund management was one of the brighter spots in the private capital market, with a large share of respondents indicating that they were planning to raise funds. At the same time, they highlighted a growing need for operational excellence and automation amid an increasingly complex landscape of operational, technical and regulatory challenges.
