Swedish management consulting firm Level21 acquired by TMC
Level21, a 50-person Swedish management consulting firm, has been acquired by TMC, a global high-tech-focused consultancy firm with offices around the world.
Founded in 2002, Level21 specializes in operational management consulting with a strong focus on project management, digital transformation, and technology transitions. The company has around a team of over 40 consultants, working from offices in Vasteras and Stockholm.
Level21 advises and supports clients across the energy, mining, and infrastructure equipment sectors, including well-known corporations such as ABB, Epiroc, and Hitachi.
Now part of TMC, Level21 will be able to broaden its offerings, in areas such as engineering and digital consulting, and offer its internationally-operating clients with cross-border support.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, TMC has around 2,800 staff across 40 offices in 17 countries. The deal lifts the size of its Swedish team to around 220 people.

Level21 will continue to operate independently under its existing leadership team. The current owners, Peter Modig, Henrik Linder, and Beatrice Björk, remain shareholders (minority share) and will continue to lead day-to-day operations.
