Magnus Energy adds three directors to its leadership team
Magnus Energy, a pan-European energy consulting firm, has boosted its leadership team with three new directors.
Christiane Stut, Ksenia Tolstrup, and Line van Kesteren have all been promoted internally, in recognition of their client impact, role in driving growth, and contributions to the firm’s internal operations.
“We are thrilled to recognise Christiane, Ksenia and Line for their outstanding contributions and leadership,” said Alexander van der Mark, Managing Director of Magnus Energy. “Their expertise and personalities strengthen our leadership team, enables us to ensure continuity of excellence and the capacity to deliver for our clients, and equips us for the next phase of growth.”
Christiane Stut has over a decade of programme management experience in the European energy sector. She has led major international market integration programmes, particularly for transmission system operators (TSOs) and market operators (NEMOs). She has been with Magnus Energy for more than 10 years.
“Over the past years, we have been working on many assignments in the DACH region with a dedicated German-speaking team. I am looking forward to expanding this further and helping our clients in bringing their projects into operations,” she said.
Ksenia Tolstrup has over a decade of experience in the European electricity markets and energy system flexibility. She has deep expertise in the markets for system services, like balancing and congestion management, and plays a key role in modelling, strategic analysis, and market design for stakeholders across Europe.
Tolstrup joined Magnus Energy in 2023. Previously, she worked in the energy sector.
“Since joining Magnus Energy two years ago, I have focused on developing our technical advisory services. During this time, we have supported many clients with strategic, market, regulatory and modelling projects. As the electricity market landscape is getting less predictable and more volatile, we’re committed to helping market parties, system operators and other actors navigate rapid changes and minimise risk exposure.”
Line van Kesteren has more than a decade of experience in guiding electricity market integration programmes. She has worked in various roles on topics like: flow-based capacity calculation, market coupling, and implementation of multi-NEMO arrangements.
Van Kesteren has been with Magnus Energy for over a decade. “Over the years, I have seen our team supporting countless European electricity market programmes. We have set a high standard in bringing these projects forward with our dedicated methodology. I’m looking forward to taking our involvement to the next level and empower our clients even more through coaching and mentoring.”
