Global strategy consultancy firm Strategy& launches in Portugal
Strategy&, one of the world’s leading strategy consulting firms, has launched its presence in Portugal, with the new office in Lisbon becoming the firm’s 25th office in Europe.
Established following the acquisition of Booz & Company by PwC, Strategy& today has a team of more than 4,500 consultants working from offices around the world. While the firm has long served clients in Portugal, it had not previously maintained a local office. The new Lisbon hub, officially launched last month, marks a step change in its local engagement, enabling a deeper presence and closer collaboration with clients.

In a keynote delivered at the launch event, Sarraf highlighted Portugal’s strong development trajectory in recent years, underpinned by modern infrastructure, a strong talent pool and a vibrant entrepreneurial spirit. “From its booming tech scene and industrial modernisation to leadership in the energy transition, Portugal has outperformed the EU in growth and built a global profile that exceeds its size.”

The Portuguese team
The new Lisbon office is led by Claudia Rocha, who brings 30 years of consulting experience. She previously spent three decades at parent firm PwC, where she was a partner and most recently led the Strategy practice within the Advisory business.
