Atos joins forces with Elastic to roll out Elasticsearch across Europe
Atos has entered into a strategic partnership with Elastic, a European technology company specialising in enterprise search and conversational AI.
The partnership is aimed at the European market and will initially focus on the Benelux and Scandinavia regions. Over time, the collaboration is expected to expand to other European markets, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Elastic is the provider of Elasticsearch, a platform that enables organisations to integrate and analyse data across digital environments. The platform consolidates data from different parts of an organisation’s IT infrastructure into a single environment, from which it can be used to support data and AI workflows.
Elasticsearch is one of the most widely used platforms in the enterprise search segment, with more than 21,000 customers worldwide, including over half of the companies on the Fortune 500 list.
As part of the partnership, Atos will incorporate Elasticsearch into its service offering and support clients with implementing the platform within their organisations. The firm will provide expertise in areas including system integration, IT implementation and change management, data and AI, cybersecurity, and sector-specific solutions.
Country teams of Atos will ensure that Elasticsearch implementations align with country-specific operational requirements.
Hans Koolen, CEO of Atos in the Netherlands, said that the partnership strengthens the company’s ability to support organisations in building secure, scalable and future-proof data architectures. “The collaboration with Elastic represents an important enhancement of our data and AI services.”
“Organisations across Europe are focused on building secure and trusted data foundations for AI. Through our partnership with Atos, we are offering clients a unified data platform for scalable AI and security, enabling them to design environments that fully align with their technological and operational needs,” said René van Haaster, Vice President at Elastic.
