G.A.C. Group acquires Romanian company CRIUS Consulting

France-headquartered G.A.C. Group has acquired CRIUS Consulting, a Romanian company specialising in advisory services for innovation, as well as subsidies from European funds and state aid.

With three offices in Romania and one in Moldova, CRIUS Consulting is one of Romania’s leading consulting firms focused on innovation and the R&D value chain. The firm has nearly 20 years of experience in developing, financing and implementing investment projects supported by European funding and state aid for companies and organisations across the energy, industrial, technology and innovation sectors.

Commenting on the deal, Ciprian Ciuciu, CEO of CRIUS Consulting, said: “After nearly 20 years, we have taken an important and natural step in our evolution. This move reflects the maturity of our company and the opportunities we aim to unlock in the years ahead.”

Headquartered just outside Paris, G.A.C. Group specialises in a broad range of professional services centred on innovation, human capital, taxation and the environment.

CRIUS Consulting will be integrated into the company’s Innovation business unit, which already has an established presence in Romania. This unit offers services in areas such as innovation management and project development, funding, grants and subsidies, as well as intellectual property valuation.
