Valcon appoints Dirk Schuite as Managing Partner of Dutch business

European management and data & AI consulting firm Valcon has appointed Dirk Schuite as Managing Partner of its Dutch business.

In his new role, Schuite will lead Valcon’s largest business unit, with its Dutch team comprising around 800 employees. Across its other markets – the UK, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Croatia – Valcon has a further 900 employees.

Schuite brings more than 30 years of experience in the consulting and technology industries, including more than 26 years at IBM, where he held a range of senior positions spanning client leadership, practice leadership and general management. His roles included European Leader of IBM’s Consumer Products practice and Global Lead of the PepsiCo account. Most recently, he held a senior leadership role at DXC.

Throughout his career, Schuite has helped organisations design and implement complex business and technology transformations, with particular expertise in consumer-facing sectors.

At Valcon, Schuite will be responsible for the company’s strategic direction, client portfolio and operations in the Netherlands. “I am excited about the opportunity to build on Valcon’s strong foundations in the Netherlands and work with our clients to address the opportunities and challenges created by the rapid development of AI and digital technologies,” said Schuite.

Valcon CEO Geert van den Goor welcomed the appointment, stating: “Dirk is a fantastic addition to Valcon. He brings an exceptional depth of experience and a strong track record in leading transformation. His perspective will be hugely valuable to our clients and our leadership team as we continue to grow.”

“The Netherlands is an important market for Valcon and we have ambitious plans for its continued development. Dirk has the experience, energy and client focus to help us achieve our business objectives.”

Van den Goor added that the appointment comes at an important stage in Valcon’s broader growth journey, as the company seeks to strengthen its position as a European powerhouse for AI and data-driven business transformation.

Backed by private equity investors, Valcon is pursuing its “next phase of growth” and has recently completed two acquisitions aimed at strengthening its capabilities in AI and data. Schuite added: “I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued growth of Valcon’s team of dedicated consultants – in a truly entrepreneurial environment.”

Schuite succeeds Bianca den Elsen, who held the top role in the Netherlands for around four years.
