Valcon appoints Robert Stembridge as Chief Operating Officer in Denmark
European management and technology consultancy firm Valcon has appointed Rob Stembridge as Chief Operating Officer of its Danish business.
In his new role, Stembridge will be responsible for driving operational and delivery excellence across Valcon’s Danish business, supporting the firm’s growth and ensuring the efficient execution of its operations and client engagements. Working closely with the Danish leadership team, he will help scale the business, enhance operational effectiveness and foster talent development.
Stembridge has years of experience in leading teams and organisations – including two decades at Accenture – before arriving at Valcon.
Commenting on his appointment, Stembridge said: “Valcon has built a strong reputation in helping clients deliver meaningful and lasting change. What attracted me to the business is its focus on creating measurable value for clients while maintaining a strong culture centred around its people. I am excited to join the team and look forward to working with colleagues to support the next phase of growth and operational excellence.”
Valcon employs around 1,700 consultants across offices in the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, the UK, Germany and Croatia. Denmark is one of the firm’s key markets and also its birthplace. The company traces its roots to Danish consultancy Valcon, which later merged with Dutch counterpart First Consulting to form the current group.
“We are delighted to welcome Rob to our Danish leadership team,” said Thomas Rosenlund, Managing Partner of Valcon in Denmark.
“As our business continues to grow, it’s increasingly important to have strong operational leadership in place to support both our people and our clients. Rob brings a wealth of experience in commercial excellence, driving operational improvement and building high performance teams – his expertise will be invaluable as we continue to expand and help clients navigate increasingly complex challenges.”
