Sia Partners accelerates in US with Caiman Consulting deal

French-origin management consulting firm Sia Partners has acquired Caiman Consulting, a US consultancy with 70 consultants across offices in Seattle and San Francisco.

The move is part of Sia Partners’ strategy to grow its US team to 500 consultants by the end of 2020. The latest acquisition – earlier this year US consultancies Loft9 and Gartland & Mellina were bolted-on – takes the firm’s US headcount to around 300 consultants. Globally, Sia Partners now has over 1,600 consultants in 16 countries. 

Founded fifteen years ago, Caiman Consulting focuses on helping clients with technology-driven transformation, with a focus on the sales & marketing and operations functions. 

As part of the integration, the managing partners of Caiman Consulting, Raazi Imam, Sheri Iverson and Marci Marra, will join Sia Partners’ US management team. The dealmaker

The deal was advised on by Equiteq, a matchmaker and corporate finance firm focused on the professional services industry. In related merger & acquisition work in professional services, Equiteq also supported the Chatham Financial - JCRA Group deal, which closed last week. 

Deals Sia Partners recently closed in Europe include that of nod-A (2019, France), Inzenka and SKT Consulting (2018, UK), Dicitas Consulting (2018, Netherlands) and Fove (2018, France).
