The M&A arms of consulting firms EY-Parthenon and Solon Management Consulting have been lauded for their work in the telecom, media and technology sector.

Every year, TMT Finance, a platform for mergers and acquisitions in the telecom, media and technology (TMT) industry, hosts its TMT M&A Awards, a competition that recognises the top performances of companies, project teams and individuals delivered over the past year.

Hosted in London last week, the TMT M&A Awards saw nearly 30 deal awards handed out, with Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Lazard and UBS ranking among the ceremony’s most successful performers, each taking home several M&A prizes.

Winners also included boutique investment banks, M&A law firms and private equity investors, as well as two consulting firms with a track record in the mergers & acquisitions landscape. For the second year running, Solon Management Consulting scooped the ‘TMT Due Diligence Adviser of the Year’ award.EY-Parthenon and Solon recognised for M&A services in TMT“We are thrilled to receive this award again in recognition of our leading position in M&A deals in TMT. The ‘TMT Transaction Adviser of the Year’ award went to Olivier Wolf, who is head of the TMT Transaction Advisory Services practice at EY-Parthenon, the global strategy consulting arm of accounting and advisory giant EY. Speaking of the recognition, Wolf wrote on LinkedIn, “It is great news to be recognised for excellence in commercial due diligence.” Julie Hood, EY’s Global Deputy Vice Chair for the Transaction Advisory Services practice, added that it was a “fabulous recognition for Olivier and the team in the UK.”
