Oliver Wyman promotes new partners in Italy and Spain
Management consulting firm Oliver Wyman has appointed three partners in its Madrid and Milan offices.
In Italy, Klara Jandova and Angelo Rosiello – both based in Milan – have been promoted to partner level. Jandova has been with the consulting firm for nearly twelve years now, ascending the ranks from Consultant. Before joining Oliver Wyman in 2008, Jandova briefly served Citi in its Global Transaction Services unit in London.
At Oliver Wyman, Jandova has grown into an expert in finance & risk, with a focus on the financial services sector. She advises clients on management of both financial and non-financial risks, with a special focus on risk governance and anti-financial crime. Her expertise covers work on review and design of operating models, risk assessment and risk appetite setting as well as the use of data and analytics in non-financial risk management.
Rosiello meanwhile joined Oliver Wyman in 2014 from Booz & Company, shortly after it was acquired by PwC (now rebranded as Strategy&). He started his career at Accenture, and following a spell as a consultant at Italian professional services firm The European House - Ambrosetti, he joined Booz & Company in its Digital practice.
The freshly appointed partner specialises in digital, IT strategy, technology-driven innovation, operational excellence, cost optimisation, sourcing strategy, cybersecurity and IT programme management. He gained the majority of his client experience in the financial services (banking), utilities (retail), and industrial sectors.
In Spain, Madrid-based Jose Manuel Gasalla Benitez has been appointed a partner. He focuses on two main topics, corporate finance and finance & risks, having gained project experience in Spain and countries including Greece, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom.
Engagements on his palmers span supporting clients with due diligence and M&A advisory, and with the setup and implementation of strategic planning, risk transformations, alternative lending optimisation, banking innovation and internal ratings for credit management.
Alongside his role for Oliver Wyman, Manuel Gasalla Benitez is a board member of ACO Formación (a startup company he founded that provides training to students) and a part time professor of Corporate Finance at Madrid-based IEB.
Scott McDonald, Oliver Wyman’s chief executive, said; “I congratulate Klara, Angelo and Jose on their achievement and know they will help our clients navigate challenges and opportunities in a fast-changing market.”
