Paolo Cerini has rapidly climbed the ranks of Bain & Company, having joined in 2007 as a consultant, and has now been elevated to partner. He specialises in topics including industrial strategies, organisation, performance, and project management, as well as in merger & acquisitions related services such as M&A advisory, commercial due diligence and post-merger integration.

His experience spans a number of sectors within Bain’s Industrial Goods industry practice, including aerospace & defence and defence electronics.

Mauro Colopi is a partner serving clients across industries, having worked on engagements for Bain’s clients in telecommunication, media, technology, financial services and industrial goods and services. His sweet spot lies in business transformation, commercial excellence, service design, IT optimisation and digitisation. Colopi joined the firm in 2004 and also has helped numerous private equity companies with due diligence services.

Stefano Fenili is an expert in Bain’s Fashion and Luxury Goods practice. During his 14 year career at the consulting firm, he managed more than 180 project assignments for local, international and global players on issues ranging from corporate strategy to performance improvement across all main product categories (jewelry, accessories, apparel, underwear), retailing, textile and leather.

Bain & Company’s Italian practice has offices in Milan and Rome, and is led by company veteran Roberto Prioreschi. Internationally, the country unit is particularly known for its track record in the fashion and luxury sector, and its annual ‘Luxury Goods Worldwide Market Study’, which is one of Bain’s most cited reports globally. The report’s lead author, Milan-based Claudia D'Arpizio, is a global board member of Bain.

In related appointments in Italy’s consulting market, Arthur D. Little appointed former McKinsey expert Riccardo Maltoni as a partner, while AlixPartners promoted Alessandro Missaglia and Marco Eccheli to partner.
